Kingdom of Sunndi - Classes

back

Barbarian

Simply put, barbarians are not native to Sunndi. They either are settlers from other regions or a few independent minded locals who taught themselves how to harness their rage. The last are mainly found in the Hollow Highlands.

Bard

Bards are relatively common among the grey elves of Riewood, but outside these they are rather uncommon. Sunndi is simply not densely populated enough to be able to support large groups of bards.

Cleric

Clerics of Pelor and Trithereon are the most common in Sunndi, though other chaotic and good aligned deities are also not unheard of. Among the farmers of course the worship of Beory and the Oeridian agriculture gods is also common. The flyer gives a good summery of the most common worshipped deities in Sunndi. The faiths of Pholtus and even Heironeous are not well liked due to their association with the Great Kingdom and their lawfulness.

Druid

Druids are not nearly as common in Sunndi as one might expect in a land with such a large population of olves. The fact is that the grey elves in general do not have as close a connection with the land as high elves and wood elves and they rarely become druids. Most druids are of the kind that help farmers as opposed to the true wilderness types.

Fighter

Fighters are common everywhere and Sunndi is no exception to that.... Most are trained in the many militias.

Paladin

Native paladins are extremely rare in Sunndi due to Sunndi's somewhat chaotic society. The few native paladins tend to worship Pelor and focus on hunting undead and protecting the citizens against threats from the Vast Swamp, though their help is also greatly appreciated when some fool unwittingly releases devils imprisoned during the Greyhawk Wars all over Sunndi.

Ranger

Rangers are quite common in Sunndi and might in fact overshadow the number of fighters in areas like the Hollow Highlands and the border area with the Vast Swamp.

Rogue

Sunndi is not densely populated and consists mainly of an agricultural society. Most rogues tend to multi-class with rangers to become scouts of the communities in which they live. Others are simple merchants with some additional skills. Only a rare few belong to the traditional kind of rogues. Dwarf rogues tend to be engineers and trap builders.

Sorcerer

Sorcerers are as common or uncommon as in the rest of the world.

Wizard

Most wizards in Sunndi tend to be grey elves or at the very least elf trained.
